Haiti and the world

Reality is in front of us. Haiti is the proof. After what happened to Haiti, will we turn to a blind eye? What if the 2012 prophecy is true? It may sound so stupid but nonetheless there are a lot of evidences. Nature is showing us that we are destroying mother earth. Now nature itself is having its revenge. Movies are there to give us lessons and infos. With such, Avatar and 2012 was made into an outstanding movie inorder for many people to see what is happening now. We live in a peaceful world, and we because of that, we are used to it, being easy and laid back. We lack action. I do sound stupid for me, but it is a challenge to you, to us. To the ones who have minds and hearts that can help this problem. For those who doesn't, live your life to the fullest. It's a cliche but instill it deeply. 2012 may be true or not but if we still continue to be relaxed, nature can destroy us in any minute, may it be before 2012 or after. What happened to Haiti is proof. So, what will you do now?

ALL-AROUND-ANIME

I have always been a fan of anime since I was a very small child...it all started when I watched Dragon Ball Z. I was really attracted to the artwork, and how the story goes that it made me hooked in watching different kinds of animes. Heck, you can even call me an "otaku" now...I really wanna thank the god of anime, "Osamu Tezuka", who started all of these.

Anime attracted different kinds of people...from Asians to Americans and from children to old pips...These are like creative stories that are implanted in amazing artworks. Some people say that anime is preferred to as toons-Japanese style but there are a lot of differences between cartoons and anime. Toons mainly target children and kids but with anime, every person can be interested whatever his/her age may be because anime, shows not only childish stories but also stories that are mature, realistic and imaginative in many ways. It is true that there are a few adults who are into childish ways and watch cartoons but in anime, there are a lot of people who are hooked into it for the fact that it is for everybody.

My favorite animes are Samurai-X(Rurouni Kenshin), Gundam, Slam Dunk, Love Hina, Knock-Out, Baki the grappler, Tenjo Tenge, Kenichi, Death Note, Gensomaden Saiyuki, Naruto, Bleach, Beck: The Mongolian Chop Squad, Eyeshield21, Prince of Tennis and a whole lot more...I know some of the animes that I have given here are one of your favorites also and so, here are some facts on why they have attracted so much people:

Lets start with Naruto:

"Naruto" is a very unique anime. It has one heck of a storyline, wherein it mainly concentrates on ninjas and taking the ninja world into a whole new level. It is a very funny show where the main character, Naruto, fools around. One fact that made people like this anime is that it shows comedy, drama and action all at the same time. It's comedy level is at a high rate because of what Naruto, the main character, can show. He sometimes fool his teachers by transforming into a nude and sexy woman just to get away with things. There are also a lot of drama wherein Naruto acts seriously on achieving his own goal. The same goes with the different ninjas in the series. It is like with Naruto's comrade, Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha struggles to avenge his whole clan who was all slaughtered by his own brother. With the story developing as time goes by, we can see the real drama in Naruto's growth and how he struggles in life in achieving his goal and protecting his loved ones. And of course, this won't be a great anime without all the hair-raising, heart-pounding and rockin' action that this anime gives to us. With all the ninja techniques that where created uniquely with their basis on real ninja techniques(taijitsu, genjutsu, ninjutsu), the anime creates a really big impact. And what most people like, is the variety of characters, where people can choose their favorite character with so many different kinds of ninjas. In Naruto, you can see shadow-binding ninjas(e.g. Shikimaru), Sand-controlling ninjas(e.g. Gaara) and a whole lot more. Like I said, they made the ninja world into a whole new level.

Next stop is Death Note:

Here is one surprising anime. This cool anime makes you think a lot. This is at a high intellectual level because in this anime, the action is based on the battle of the minds. This one is created in a very unique way. Did you ever thought of the reapers using notebooks to kill people? Here is a little about the story of "Death Note"...Light Yagami(later on called as "Kira"), a born genius and a very intelligent student, is bored. The same goes for Ryuk, a carefree death reaper, for he is also bored in the world of shinigamis(death reapers). Because of Ryuk's boredom, he decided to drop his notebook into the human world. The notebook is the one that the death reapers use to kill people if it is already their time. If you want the person to die, you will write his/her complete name and think of his/her face at the same time. After that, the person will die of heart attack. You can also add details on how he/she dies or when will he/she die to be more specific on how he/she will be on his/her last breath. Back to the story...and so, when the notebook reached the human world, it was then found by Light Yagami. There were instructions in the notebook on how to use it because it is said to be a notebook that kills. At first Light believed that it was some kind of prank but eventually because he was bored, he was willing to try it. To his surprise, the notebook was actually working...then, that is where Light started to have an ambition of having a perfect world without criminals by killing them all...On the other hand, the people of justice, the police and the government, believed that he was wrong...the government hired a mysterious and expert detective who solved all the criminal cases that were given to him in the past called "L" to defeat Kira...that is when the start of the battle begins...fighting with minds and trying to figure who is who...this is what Death Note is all about, tricks and trades...In this anime, the main character is not actually the hero of the story, it actually depends upon you on who do you consider as the hero and as the bringer of justice...this is the type of story that you would really like because of its plot. What would you have done if you got the notebook? People like this anime because of its high intellectual level...what I mean is, they showed brilliance on the characters wherein the battle is fought by tricking/fooling each other with things we could never imagine...This anime has a cool atmosphere with its dark scenes. You stand out when your smart or wise right? Then look out for this unbelievable anime...

Now lets go with Gundam:

"Gundam" is one of the longest running anime series which has been a top in the chart when it comes to anime. Gundam has proven that it is one good anime that a lot of artist continue to make a new series with a new kind of story even though there are already a lot of Gundam shows that left a great mark to anime lovers. Gundams are those giant robots or mechs that being used to fight during wars or whatever the story is all about. In some Gundam series, they are considered as mobile suits. They made it into the anime industry with such impact not only because of its unpredictable stories but also with its outstanding artwork. The Gundams are drawn in a very detailed manner with those different hidden weapons and interactive machineries. Once again, just like in Naruto, this anime has a variety of characters. Not only that there are different kinds of characters but there are also different kinds of Gundams on which the characters use. With so many variety of Gundams, you might get a lot of favorites within them...Now, the recent Gundams that made people glued into their chairs while watching TV are Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. This two series are pretty much related. In the SEED series, Kira is the main character who is struggling against friendship and the safety of everybody. And in the SEED Destiny series, Kira and his friends are now so called legends of the universe, and the new main character of the story is Shin. And so, the different Gundam series are a must watch anime...

1/18/08 - There is a new gundam series that is being shown these days and its title is Gundam00....its not finish yet so can't explain much further about it so do check it out...


Now for Beck:The Mongolian Chop Squad:

This anime is a very entertaining anime. It is all about music. This is for all you music lovers out there..."Beck" made such an impact that it is now a hit in America...A lot of people both in the western and eastern part of the world are watching this anime. This series is on the realistic side and some can even very much relate to it. The story is all about a boring boy named Koyuki, who met a very cool guitarist from America named Ryusuke. In the story, they eventually created a band in order to pursue their dreams. With all of the band members, they practiced really hard to reach the goal of being the best band there is no matter what obstacle they must take. Beck, their bands name, came from the name of Ryusuke's dog. This anime series is a very cool and entertaining anime because its music are so awesome and the instruments like the telecaster are drawn in a very detailed manner. Again, just like in any other anime, there are a variety of characters. You can spot rappers, bassists, drummers, guitarists, vocalists, businessmen, bartenders, gangsters, teachers, students, bullies, swimmers, and any other type of person that you can see in our modern world today. This anime has a western touch to it. It takes you from smooth places in Japan and then up to the extravagant world in the USA. You can see in these series the growth of Koyuki, from being a loser type of person, to being a popular member of a band. What can I say, he worked hard for it. But what I really like about this series is the funny and unpredictable love story of Koyuki...Again, another must watch anime..So prepare your ears and listen to what music is really like...

Let's go with Bleach:

"Bleach" is pretty much like Naruto. They have in a way, a lot of similarities on how they are put up. This anime is mostly about Shinigamis(Death Reapers/Death gods). There are shinigamis also in the anime Death Note but in this one it is a whole lot different. Just like in Naruto, they have taken their theme into a whole new level. The story is all about a boy named Ichigo who can see ghosts not knowing he is really a shinigami. As he met Rukia, a high ranking shinigami, his whole world changed . He then fights along side with Rukia in the pursuit of Hollows and righteousness. Like I said, Bleach and Naruto are pretty much the same because just like in Naruto, this series shows comedy, drama and action all at the same time. If Naruto gives out the comedy, then in here, its Ichigo, but also some added laughter from some of the casts of this anime e.g. Orihime with here absent-minded and out of this world attitude. Next stop is the drama wherein Ichigo strives hard to protect not only his family in blood but also the family that he made with his friends. And of course, the one thing that made this anime a top notch is all of the action that it gives. With their really cool big swords that are called "zanpakuto/zanpaku", they fight fiercely with the evil spirits called the Hollows. Their zanpaku have spirits in them and it can transform into a different form. The transformation is what they call "bankai". As they change the form of their swords, they perform bankai and change their power into a different level. Just like many animes, this anime also has a lot of variety of characters. They are categorized as Human, Shinigamis, Quincies, Hollows, and a whole lot more. You can choose in so many ways on who you wanted to be in the anime and maybe there is a character in Bleach that matches your personality. I can say that this is one heck of an anime.

Now, for Love Hina:

This one is a very crazy and hilarious anime. This a very funny anime that it might get you crazy. The story is very funny because of the main character who is such a klutz and a loser type of person. Adding to that, he was ordered by his grandmother to manage an all girls dormitory that his grandmother owns. This anime attracted a lot of people because of the main character named Keitaro, experiencing a lot of unlucky things just to get along with the girls in the dormitory. Also, there are a lot of sexy and seductive views of the women because the story is all in the world of women. What i mean is, it's an all girl dormitory, what would you expect, there would be a lot of things that are bound to happen and on top of that, mostly are unlucky events for Keitaro. Still, the story concentrates on the goal of Keitaro where he made a promise with a girl when he was small. So, check out this anime, to see all the drama and also laugh out loud at the same time. Maybe you guys can even learn from what Keitaro is being going through with a whole different kinds of girls. Lastly, again, just like other animes, these have a lot of characters and most of them are women. So check out those girls ranging from cute childlike ones to seductive, strict and tomboyish girls....

Next is Samura-X (Rurouni Kenshin):

I consider this anime as legendary. Not because it talks about a legendary samurai, but for me it is really a great legend as an anime. This anime, for me, is great in all aspects. From its artwork, storyline, up to its charm. This anime attracts a lot of people because you cannot find any weaknesses in this anime. Try to find one because I haven't seen any. Even though this anime is made some years back, its artwork are really great. Even though this anime is gone for quite some time now, this is still one of the favorites of a lot of people. This anime is also like Naruto and Bleach but this is more realistic. With that, I believe this anime is more productive and inspiring because it has a little historical feel. The anime is implanted in the depths of a former era in Japan, wherein some events in the anime are true. It is productive and inspiring in the sense that the main character, Kenshin, is believed to portray a certain samurai in the Japanese History. The story is quite realistic that you would really like to be Kenshin. Samurai-X takes the samurai world into a whole new level, just like Naruto and Bleach. Even though Kenshin is a very skilled warrior, he continues to grow in order for him to protect his loved ones. A comedy, drama and action in one as well. With all the samurai techniques, remarkable artworks, and splendid storyline, Samurai-X is considered as one of the best animes in the world of all time.

Next stop is Gensomaden Saiyuki:

"Gensomaden Saiyuki" takes the story of a Chinese novel about gods, humans and demons. It is all about four cool and unbeatable guys with different characteristics and lifestyles. They are Sanzo, Gojyo, Hakkai, and Goku. The anime attracted a lot of people because of these cool dudes. Men would say that they want to be like them. On the other hand, woman drools over their hotness. That is how great they are. They possess unbelievable strengths and irresistible charms. But what is more great about them is their mysterious and hidden past lives. In their current life, they have encountered tragedy when they where little. Little did they know that the four of them were actually reincarnation of four supernatural beings(gods, demi-gods, etc). But their past lives as humans are very intriguing because of what they have experienced. They begin to grow and grow and fight through whatever they will see upon their destination in the west. Even they are reincarnations of gods or demi-gods, they are pretty much the same to who they were as gods. Their real strength does not lie on their weapons nor their fists nor their powers but on their will and their hearts where their push through their journey encountering a lot of obstacles along the way going to the west. The four is like a perfect combination being united by fate to go to where their destiny is. Since the Chinese novel became a hit, don't you think that the anime won't? It even surpass the expectations of a lot of people...Be sure to check it out....

Now for some high school martial arts butt kicking...
Tenjo Tenge and Kenichi:

These two animes are alike. The characters are in high school and they concentrate on martial arts. They both give such a big impact because of their themes. The main characters are both hard kicking and super fighting machines of justice. The main character of "Tenjo Tenge" is Souichiro where when he transferred high school, he found a group of people who are stronger than him and with that, he trained a lot to be stronger and and in order to protect the ones that gave him the strength. In "Kenichi", the main character is of course, Kenichi. Kenichi was just a plain boy who then train in order to defend himself and those who need protecting. The two anime series shows a lot of great techniques that may be a little realistic enough that it may be applicable in the real life. But what made this two animes such great shows is that they show great determination, commitment, strength, passion and justice in their hardships in going through their high school. Both stories have different gangs fighting for supremacy. Tenjo Tenge has a lot more sexy side to it because of the women who sometimes accidentally gets naked and sometimes seductive because of the very sexy ripped shirts after the fight. While Kenichi on the other hand, shows a lot of great techniques because the teachers of Kenichi are masters of different martial arts. Again, both animes have a lot of characters making it more interesting. These two anime series show a lot of strength and power both in body and in heart. These are the kinds of animes that boosts your heart and soul to push through the challenges of life...These series are really great animes for the soul...

Now for some sports related anime...
Slam Dunk, Knock-out, Eyeshield21, Prince of Tennis, etc:

These animes are pretty much a hit today because all have a modern and realistic feel. Many can relate to these animes because many are also into sports especially those who are in the varsity in their schools. Not only that these anime series show great determination and perseverance in their sports but also different kinds of techniques, skills and trainings that could help you in the sport that you like. These kind of animes are so in, in todays modern world because people get their inspiration and strength from these kind of animes when they go in to the battlefield of their sport. "Slam Dunk" became a hit because of Sakuragi striving hard even though he fools around like an idiot making a lot of people laugh and get inspired at the same time. Slam Dunk also became a hit because of the variety of cool basketball players that are shown in the series. "Knock-out" also showed great enthusiasm in the main character named Ippo because the story is all about Ippo wanting to become stronger in order for him not be bullied any more in school. Because of Ippo's determination and strong will, he kept on rising in the boxing world and became popular in his school. Another sport related anime is "Eyeshield21" where Sena, a weak kid but very fast in running found his home in American Football. After meeting Hiruma and Kurita, he now battles in the field as Eyeshield21 showing growth and great courage with all the obstacles life has given him. And to add up, there is also "The Prince of Tennis" where the story is all about a boy named Ryoma, who is very talented in tennis because of his father. His father was a pro tennis player, who was believed that no one could beat him and now considered as a legend. In Ryoma's life, he fought a lot of well trained tennis player just to find a way to defeat his father. But after meeting the players of Seigaku and the other schools, is defeating his father is his only goal now?? Find out and see for yourself. With these sport related animes, you would be hooked in your chair while watching this kind of anime..so check it out...

All in all, these animes are in the top and favorites of many because most of these anime series show great growth within their characters. Most people who watch anime wants to be like certain characters in the animes especially the main characters. So having great trainings and growth in mind, soul and body within the main characters, people get inspired and motivated to do their missions in life. Another thing that is common with these animes is the variety of characters. Like I said, many wants to be like the characters and loves to impersonate them. And with a lot of characters, you can choose from a lot of numbers of them. Some of the characters can even resemble certain real people and people can really relate to the stories. And lastly, its all about the basics wherein these animes are great because their artwork and storylines are great. So be sure to check it out...

Just search for the anime you like in Veoh and the probabability for it to be available is about 90%. You can watch the video in full screen but it will slow down the video streaming. You must check it out.
